The LG Sonic Tank algae control system uses the same high efficiency control box and transducer as the other systems in the LG line. The Tank however is perfectly suited to controlling algae in ponds up to 98 feet or 30 meters. Current applications include small ponds, drinking water storage tanks, water purification systems, cooling towers, irrigation systems, and recycled water containers.

Traditionally many horticulture or garden industry growers use the LG Tank to control algae growth in irrigation pools or tanks that hold water for sprinkling or spraying. Algae in systems like this often cause clogging in the installation.

The Tank can also be used in combination with other LG systems such as the XL or XXL. The Tank is perferct to treat those hard to reach coves or recesses in oddly shaped ponds.
