Ultrasonic algae control can do a wonderful job at keeping algae at bay in your pond. However there are times and instances when other pond management products can be very beneficial. Listed below are several that we use quite frequently and we recommend them highly.

Aeration - Aeration is the process of adding air to the pond by using a land based compressor or pump and directing air through a line and into a diffuser which sits at the bottom of the pond.  This process adds valuable oxygen into the pond system and helps greatly in maintaining fish healt as well as the normal biological activity that helps keep ponds clean and balanced.

Beneficial Bacteria - Beneficial bacteria is commonly found in most ponds in their natural state.  However chemical usage along with low oxygen levels in a pond can prevent them from working well.  This type of bacteria is natures way of helping keep a pond in balance and they also greatly assist in the breakdown and elimination of organic material that may settle in the pond from time to time.  Supplementation of this type of bacteria is often used to help clear up algae issues without the use of chemicals.

Aquatic Dyes - Aquatic dye products are often used to help in the control of underwater weed growth or algae outbreaks.  In shallower ponds and those that have a great deal of sun exposure, dyes can help cut down on the sunlight penetration and retard the process of photosynthesis which stimulates all plant growth in a pond.  This product most often comes in either blue or black colors and can be applied to varying degees of tinting to achieve the desired look and the degree of plant control that is needed.
